Qualifications

• Degree from a four-year college or university preferred.
• Minimum 3 years customer-facing experience required.
• Inside sales and/or field sales experience preferred.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Experience in the electronics industry a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Achieve annual budget targets while developing a forward-looking, high-potential customer portfolio with emphasis on OEM and cable assembly targets.
• Promote PEI’s corporate vision and ICARE values to encourage teamwork, continual improvement, customer focus and ethical behavior.
• Utilize NetSuite CRM as your premier sales tool to make informed, data-driven decisions and communicate growth targets and leads.
• Develop industry knowledge to become a well-rounded technical advisor within the territory.
• Execute strategic plans to maximize PEI’s effectiveness and influence financial and operational success.
• Build relationships with internal and external customers across procurement, engineering, and key decision-makers.
• Prospect strategic business accounts via cold calling, emailing and social networking.
• Plan travel strategically to facilitate growth with in-person meetings.
• Collaborate with Finance and Product Management to penetrate and grow accounts.
• Drive design-in sales growth using regional resources to meet year-over-year targets.
• Stay informed of competitor activities and market trends for budgeting and forecasting.
