Job summary

PEI-Genesis is seeking an Industrial Sales Engineer to grow design-in revenue in the Central region of North America. The role collaborates with Territory Development Representatives and Regional Sales Managers, delivering technical advice and solutions to PEI’s customers throughout the design cycle.

The successful candidate will be highly organized, customer-focused and technical, with five years of B2B technical sales experience and prior exposure to connectors, electronic components or cable

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Electrical or Mechanical engineering preferred.
• Five years of successful professional selling experience with technical products in a B2B environment.
• Experience in electronic component sales preferred.
• Experience in a multi-asset team selling environment preferred, but not required.
• Proficient in CRM and Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Participate in development of sales strategies for targeted vertical markets and key customers in an assigned geographic region.
• Maintain relevant industry knowledge both commercially and technically with customers in your region.
• Collaborate with TDRs on design solutions with key customers resulting in revenue growth.
• Maximize time and territory plans to increase productivity and sales of PEI products.
• Increase design opportunities utilizing PEI products for customer solutions.
• Build relationships with key customers to become the trusted advisor for connectivity design solutions.
• Initiate and conduct seminars/lunch & learns to promote PEI products and value proposition.
• Engage with manufacturer reps and manufacturers to increase mindshare and preferential treatment.
