Job summary

Goodwin Recruiting seeks an Electrical Operations Manager to oversee national industrial and mission critical electrical construction projects. You will drive growth, profitability, and performance across multiple markets, with a focus on coordinating preconstruction through final delivery and collections.

You will lead a team of project leaders, align estimating and field operations, and manage multi-market mobilizations while traveling regularly to client sites nationwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• 12+ years of progressive electrical construction experience.
• Proven P&L responsibility and financial forecasting ability.
• Experience delivering large-scale electrical projects in commercial/industrial markets.
• Experience leading dispersed teams and multi-market mobilizations.
• Strong understanding of NEC, contracts, and project delivery methods.
• Ability to travel regularly to client sites nationwide.
• Proficiency with industry tools like Viewpoint, Procore, MS Project, Bluebeam.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the division operating plan including revenue, profit, backlog, staffing and overhead goals.
• Establish accountability for project leaders and review performance with executive leadership.
• Evaluate new markets and opportunities against client quality, execution capacity and risk.
• Build relationships with national clients and partners to secure repeat work and growth.
• Lead commercial discussions and secure approvals before commitments.
• Oversee project delivery from preconstruction to commissioning and closeout.
