Job summary

Goodwin Recruiting is seeking a Senior Project Manager for hyperscale data center electrical construction. This remote, travel-heavy role runs multiple workstreams within a program with finance, procurement, VDC, and field teams across the Southeast U.S.

You will lead design through closeout, align executives and clients, and build scalable planning systems to support rapid growth in mission-critical projects. Strong leadership and technical expertise required.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive project management experience in large commercial, industrial or mission-critical electrical construction.
• Experience delivering hyperscale or mission-critical projects of $25M to $100M+, multi-phase or program setting.
• Strong forecasting, buyout, margin management, cash flow and contract terms experience.
• Proficiency with electrical estimating, scheduling and construction management software.
• Solid technical knowledge of mission-critical electrical systems including UPS, distribution, grounding and commissioning.
• Strong communication: leading meetings, aligning stakeholders, keeping teams informed.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple workstreams or phases within a hyperscale program, aligned to schedule, milestones and resources.
• Coordinate deliverables across estimating, procurement, VDC/BIM, engineering, field and client stakeholders.
• Establish standard workflows, tracking tools and reporting for scalable program delivery.
• Oversee planning, budgeting, scheduling, buyout, forecasting and financial performance for phases.
• Draft scopes of work, change orders, procurement packages and communication plans.
• Maintain cost control and risk visibility with proactive issue management.
• Translate concepts into buildable plans with client, engineers and design teams.
• Support design development, constructability reviews, long-lead material strategy and sequencing.
• Prepare conceptual budgets, detailed estimates and scope narratives for future work.
• Lead coordination meetings, progress reviews and program reporting with stakeholders.
• Build trusted relationships through technical knowledge and consistent performance.
• Guide superintendents, project engineers and coordinators; ensure planning, communication and schedule adherence.
• Encourage proactive problem solving and continuous improvement.
• Ensure field teams have materials, tools and information to stay on the critical path.
• Coordinate prefabrication, site logistics and commissioning readiness.
