The role oversees the National Projects Group, driving performance, client relations, and strategic planning while mentoring project leaders and aligning with safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Extensive leadership experience in electrical construction.
• Proven track record managing large-scale industrial, data center, or mission-critical projects.
• Experience leading multiple projects across geographic markets.
• Strong P&L forecasting and cost-control responsibilities.
• Experience developing project leaders (PMs, Superintendents).

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and operational oversight for the division and its portfolio of large-scale electrical construction projects.
• Lead Project Executives, PMs, Superintendents and field staff across multiple project locations.
• Manage budgets, forecasting, cost controls, profitability, and division performance.
• Partner with estimating/preconstruction to pursue opportunities and ensure turnover and execution.
• Set standards for scheduling, manpower, procurement, safety, quality, and project controls.
• Build relationships with general contractors, owners, developers, and clients.
• Recruit and mentor leaders to support growth and reporting.

Division Manager – Mission Critical & Industrial

Location: Southeast U.S. – Remote/Travel

Goliath Construction Consulting is seeking a Division Manager for a well-established electrical contractor. This senior leadership position will oversee a portfolio of large-scale electrical construction projects located primarily throughout the Southeast, with a strong focus on industrial, data center, and mission-critical construction. This position can be based anywhere in the Southeast U.S. and does not require relocation.

The Division Manager will have overall responsibility for the performance and growth of the National Projects Group, including operations, project execution, financial performance, team development, client relationships, and strategic planning. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced electrical construction leader who has successfully managed multiple large and complex projects across multiple geographic markets.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide overall leadership and operational oversight for the division and its portfolio of large-scale electrical construction projects.
• Lead Project Executives, Project Managers, Superintendents, and supporting operations personnel across multiple project locations.
• Maintain accountability for project financial performance, including budgets, forecasting, cost controls, profitability, and overall division performance.
• Partner with estimating and preconstruction teams to evaluate opportunities, develop project strategies, and support successful project turnover and execution.
• Establish consistent operational standards for scheduling, manpower planning, procurement, safety, quality, and project controls.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with general contractors, owners, developers, and other key clients.
• Recruit, mentor, and develop operational leaders while building the team necessary to support continued growth.
• Provide executive leadership with regular reporting on project performance, staffing, risks, forecasts, and division strategy.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Extensive leadership experience within the electrical construction industry.
• Proven experience managing large-scale industrial, data center, mission-critical, or similarly complex electrical projects.
• Strong background overseeing multiple projects, project teams, and geographic markets simultaneously.
• Demonstrated responsibility for P&L, forecasting, project financial performance, and operational results.
• Experience developing Project Executives, Project Managers, Superintendents, and other construction leaders.
• Strong understanding of electrical construction operations, estimating/preconstruction, scheduling, labor planning, procurement, safety, and quality.
• Ability and willingness to travel regularly to projects throughout the Southeast and other markets as required.
