Job summary

Paige Renewable Energy seeks an experienced Electrical Estimator to translate drawings, BOMs, and requirements into accurate estimates for utility‑scale projects across North America. You will perform detailed takeoffs, price projects, and collaborate with Sales, Engineering, and Supply Chain to ensure ready‑to‑execute bids.

This remote role prefers candidates in Eastern or Central Time Zones to align with the existing team schedule and workflow.

Qualifications

• 3+ years electrical estimating experience or equivalent field responsibilities.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, single-line diagrams, site plans, specs.
• Experience performing detailed material takeoffs and developing estimates.
• Strong knowledge of electrical materials, cables, connectors, and distribution systems.
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills with high accuracy.
• Proficiency with Excel and Bluebeam or similar takeoff software.
• Strong organizational and collaboration skills for multiple estimates.

Responsibilities

• Review RFQ packages, drawings, site layouts, and BOMs to understand scope.
• Perform detailed electrical material takeoffs including cables, harnesses, connectors.
• Develop project estimates with material costs, vendor pricing, freight, and manufacturing costs.
• Identify discrepancies, scope gaps, risks; document assumptions and clarifications.
• Validate quantities, material selections, calculations, and revisions before release.
• Coordinate with Supply Chain and manufacturing for pricing, lead times, and inputs.
• Support proposal development, design revisions, BAFO activities and revisions.
• Maintain organized estimating files for independent review.
