Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking an experienced O&M Estimator to prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for long-term service agreements on solar and BESS projects. You will analyze project specs and RFPs, collaborate with business development, project managers, and engineers, and ensure timely delivery of estimates.

The role is fully remote, with interview discussions covering location expectations and project scope.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, architecture, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of estimating experience.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills; able to read specs and drawings.

Responsibilities

• Review RFPs, project plans, and specs to prepare detailed cost estimates.
• Prepare quantity takeoffs and materials pricing.
• Identify equipment and OEM requirements and quantify costs.
• Meet bidding schedules and participate in estimate reviews.
• Work with subcontractors to define costs for minor scopes and maintain vendor relations.
