Job summary

SOLV Energy, a leading provider of infrastructure services to the power industry, is seeking an Operations & Maintenance Estimator for long-term service agreements on utility-scale solar and BESS projects. This fully remote role involves analyzing project specs, RFPs, and collaborating with BD, PMs, and engineers to deliver accurate estimates on time.

You will help develop cost databases, maintain estimate templates, and stay current with industry trends and best practices while advancing

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or architectural degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to read and understand specifications and drawings.
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Review RFP documents, project plans and specs to prepare detailed cost estimates.
• Prepare quantity takeoffs and materials pricing.
• Identify equipment and OEM requirements and quantify costs.
• Maintain bidding schedules and participate in estimate reviews.
• Work with subcontractors to define and obtain costs for minor scopes of work.
