Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking an Intermediate Civil Engineer Energy – Remote for project work based out of Oak Ridge, TN. The role focuses on designing and overseeing infrastructure projects, nuclear and commercial structures, and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to meet regulatory and client requirements.

Responsibilities include performing structural analyses (FEA), developing layout plans, and supporting design media preparation while adhering to industry codes and standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years relevant experience.
• Experience in nuclear industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and oversee infrastructure projects.
• Interface with mechanical, nuclear, operations and electrical teams for structural design.
• Perform engineering calculations including FEA to ensure compliance with codes and project requirements.
• Assist in design documentation, plant modifications, and cross-discipline integration.
• Support installation and testing of site systems and components.
