AtkinsRéalis is seeking an Intermediate Civil Engineer Energy for a remote role, based out of Oak Ridge, TN. The position focuses on designing, analyzing, and overseeing infrastructure projects within the nuclear sector, interfacing with mechanical, electrical, and operations teams.

Responsibilities include performing structural analyses (FEA), developing layout plans, and ensuring compliance with ASME/ACI/ASCE/AISC codes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field required.
• Minimum of 3 years relevant experience.
• Experience in nuclear industry preferred.
• Familiarity with ASME, ACI, ASCE and AISC codes.

Responsibilities

• Design and oversee construction and maintenance of infrastructure projects.
• Interface with mechanical, nuclear, operations and electrical engineering teams for structural design.
• Perform engineering calculations including FEA to document code compliance.
• Prepare design media and coordinate with designers per procedures.
• Support installation and testing of site systems and components.
• Ensure design criteria and codes are applied correctly across disciplines.
• Work in multi-discipline teams to integrate design and meet schedules.
