Job summary

Eaton’s Electrical Engineering Services & Systems Division is seeking an Electrical Construction Quality Engineer (QA/QC) for remote work within the United States with up to 75% travel. You will lead QC activities on EPC construction projects, ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and codes, and support documentation and corrective actions across teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or 10 years of quality control/assurance on electrical construction projects.
• 7+ years of QC/QA for commercial, industrial, utility, or mission-critical electrical construction.
• Experience overseeing QC activities for electrical installations, testing, commissioning, energization of power distribution systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead QC activities for EPC construction projects to meet codes and customer expectations.
• Develop and maintain project quality documentation (QMPs, inspection reports, test records, punch lists, closeout packages).
• Conduct field inspections, audits, and quality reviews to identify defects and drive improvements.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and customers to resolve quality issues and drive corrective actions.
• Review drawings, specs, submittals, RFIs, and commissioning plans to verify constructability and quality requirements.
• Manage third‑party testing and inspection providers and resolve issues.
• Support factory witness testing, commissioning, and system turnover.
