Job summary

Eaton's Electrical Engineering Services & Systems Division seeks an Electrical Construction Quality Engineer (QA/QC) to lead quality control on EPC construction projects, remotely across the United States with up to 75% travel. The role ensures compliance with design drawings, specifications, codes and standards, supporting teams through QA/QC processes and inspections.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering or related field.
• Minimum 7+ years QA/QC experience on commercial electrical construction projects.
• Experience overseeing electrical installation, testing, commissioning, energization.
• Ability to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Valid driver's license with ability to travel 50–75%.

Responsibilities

• Lead quality control activities for EPC construction projects.
• Develop and maintain Quality Management Plans and inspection/test records.
• Conduct field inspections, audits, and reviews to identify defects.
• Review drawings, submittals, RFIs, and commissioning plans.
• Manage third-party testing and inspection providers.
• Support factory witness testing and system turnover.
• Promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
