Amteck is seeking a Building Information Modeling (BIM) Technician to support construction and engineering teams through advanced 3D modeling and coordination. This position enables work from home or from our Lexington, KY HQ or Greenville, SC office. Responsibilities include creating and maintaining accurate BIM models, integrating design data, performing clash detection, and delivering construction documentation. Ideal candidates should have experience with BIM tools like Revit and solid communication skills.
Qualifications
Proficiency in BIM software such as Revit, Evolve, ACC, Solidworks, or Navisworks.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Attention to detail and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities
Creating and updating detailed 3D models of electrical systems using BIM software.
Integrating design information from various disciplines into the 3D model.
Identifying and resolving spatial conflicts between different building components.
Generating drawings, schedules, and visualizations from the 3D model.
Ensuring the BIM model remains current with design changes.
Working closely with project managers and engineers.
Skills
Proficiency in BIM software such as Revit
Ability to create detailed 2D drawings from 3D models
Understanding of construction methods and terminology
