Job summary

Amteck is seeking a Building Information Modeling (BIM) Technician to support our construction and engineering teams through advanced 3D modeling. This role involves creating and maintaining accurate BIM models, performing clash detection, and providing visualizations to enhance decision-making. Strong proficiency in Revit and attention to detail are required. The position offers flexibility to work fully remote, from our Lexington, KY HQ, or Greenville, SC office.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in BIM software such as Revit, Evolve, ACC, Solidworks, or Navisworks.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Creating and updating detailed 3D models of electrical systems using BIM software.
• Integrating design information from various disciplines into the 3D model.
• Identifying and resolving spatial conflicts or clashes between different building components.

Skills

Proficiency in BIM software such as Revit

Ability to create detailed 2D drawings from 3D models

Sound understanding of construction methods and terminology

Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Ability to analyze and interpret design information
