Job summary

Amteck is looking for a Building Information Modeling (BIM) Technician to join its team. This individual will support construction and engineering through advanced 3D modeling and coordination. Responsibilities include creating and maintaining BIM models, performing clash detection, and generating construction documentation. Proficiency in BIM software and strong communication skills are essential. The position allows for fully remote work or office work in Lexington, KY, or Greenville, SC.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in BIM software such as Revit, Evolve, ACC, Solidworks, or Navisworks.
• Ability to analyze and interpret design information and create detailed drawings.
• Understanding of construction methods, building codes, and industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Creating and updating detailed 3D models of electrical systems using BIM software.
• Integrating design information from various disciplines into the 3D model.
• Identifying and resolving spatial conflicts using clash detection tools.
• Generating drawings and visualizations to support construction planning.

Skills
