Job summary

Amteck is seeking a Building Information Modeling (BIM) Technician to support construction and engineering teams through advanced 3D modeling and coordination. This role includes creating accurate BIM models, generating construction documentation, and collaborating with project teams. The ideal candidate will have proficiency in BIM tools and excellent communication skills. This position can be fully remote or based out of Lexington, KY HQ or Greenville, SC office.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in BIM software and ability to create detailed 2D drawings from 3D models.
• Sound understanding of construction methods, building codes, and industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Creating and updating detailed 3D models of electrical systems using BIM software.
• Integrating design information from various disciplines into the 3D model.
• Identifying and resolving spatial conflicts between different building components.
• Generating drawings and visualizations from the 3D model to support construction planning.

Skills

Proficiency in BIM software such as Revit, Evolve, ACC, Solidworks, or Navisworks

Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Attention to detail

Ability to analyze and interpret design information
