Job summary

Comfort Systems USA is seeking a Building Information Modeling (BIM) Technician to enhance our construction and engineering teams through advanced 3D modeling. This position can be fully remote or based at our Lexington, KY HQ or Greenville, SC office. The ideal candidate will proficiently create and maintain BIM models, perform clash detection, generate documentation, and collaborate effectively with project teams. A sound understanding of electrical practices and software skills is essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in BIM software such as Revit, Evolve, ACC, Solidworks, or Navisworks.
• Ability to create detailed 2D drawings from 3D models.
• Sound understanding of construction methods, codes, and standards.

Responsibilities

• Creating and updating detailed 3D models of electrical systems using BIM software.
• Integrating design information from various disciplines into the 3D model.
• Identifying and resolving conflicts between different building components.

Skills

Proficiency in BIM software (Revit, Evolve, ACC, Solidworks, Navisworks)

Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Attention to detail

Ability to analyze and interpret design information
