Job summary

Miaplaza is seeking Curriculum Developers to design and produce immersive ELA learning materials for 6-12th grade, including video scripts, assessments, and written activities. You’ll work with experts, production teams, and an instructional coach to ensure content is engaging, rigorous, and accessible.

The role emphasizes collaboration, feedback, and continuous improvement, with 100% remote work within or outside the U.S. and a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of full-time ELA classroom teaching at 9-12th grade levels (Excludes student teaching).
• Bachelor’s degree in Education or ELA-related field.
• Experience writing measurable lesson objectives and aligned materials.
• Ability to differentiate instruction for diverse learners.
• Proficient in using Google tools to support instruction.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop ELA content for 6-12th grade students (videos, assessments, written activities).
• Ensure content is pedagogically sound, engaging, and age-appropriate.
• Write clear, measurable lesson objectives aligned to outcomes.
• Use Google Slides/Sheets/Docs and screencasting tools.
• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs.
• Collaborate with curriculum team and provide/receive feedback on lessons.
