Job summary

Sentara Health in Norfolk, VA is seeking an experienced ICU nurse for the Night shift (7p–7a) to support our eICU telemedicine program. The role is full-time and involves remote nursing care across multiple Sentara hospitals, with a move later to Sentara Independence in Virginia Beach.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years ICU bedside experience, an RN license in VA (or compact), and familiarity with Epic Patient Monitoring and telemedicine workflows.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or diploma in RN is required.
• 3+ years of recent ICU bedside experience.
• Virginia RN license or Compact/Multi-State eligible; CCRN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote ICU nursing care via eICU, acting as advocate and resource for bedside RN.
• Collaborate with bedside ICU team and eMD to deliver telemedicine care.
• Maintain daily eICU logs and APACHE assignments.
