Job summary

Sentara Health in Norfolk, VA is seeking an experienced ICU nurse for the eICU telemedicine program. This full‑time night shift (7p‑7a) role supports multiple Sentara hospitals, with relocation of the primary site to Sentara Independence by late June.

Requirements include an RN license (Virginia or compact), 3+ years ICU experience, and BLS within 90 days. BSN preferred; CCRN preferred. Competitive base pay and benefits included.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree or Diploma in Registered Nursing (required).
• BSN or MSN preferred.
• Virginia RN License (or Compact/Multi-State Eligible).
• CCRN preferred. All Direct Care RNs require BLS within 90 days of hire.
• 3+ years of ICU bedside experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote nursing care via the eICU telemedicine platform.
• Collaborate with bedside ICU team to support patient care.
• Monitor patients using Epic Patient Monitoring (EPM) and telemedicine tools.
• Maintain daily monitoring logs and document patient status and APACHE assignments.
