Job summary

Sentara eICU is seeking a full-time ICU nurse for day shift (7am–7pm) to join our Norfolk team. The role involves remote nursing care, telemedicine coordination with bedside RNs, and daily monitoring across Sentara hospitals.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of ICU experience, an active Virginia RN license (Compact/Multi-State eligible accepted), and BLS. BSN preferred; CCRN is a plus. The position will relocate from Sentara Norfolk General to Sentara Independence in late June.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of recent ICU bedside experience.
• Virginia RN license (Compact/Multi-State eligible acceptable).
• BLS required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote nursing care as an advocate and resource for bedside RNs.
• Collaborate with telemedicine team to deliver care across Sentara hospitals.
• Maintain daily monitoring logs and APACHE assignments.
• Follow nursing process standards for assessment, planning, and evaluation.
