Neovia is seeking an Environmental, Health & Safety Manager to oversee EHS across multiple facilities. The role entails reviewing, implementing, monitoring, and ensuring compliance of the Neovia EHS systems in line with health and safety guidelines and legislation.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field, 5+ years of EHS experience, and a proactive, flexible leader capable of coordinating across shifts and sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Certified Safety Professional certification is a plus.
• Minimum 5 years of EHS experience.
• Extensive EHS employment experience, ideally in a logistics environment.
• Flexible approach to work and ability to manage priorities.
• Willing to support activities across 3 shift Operations.
• Ability to lead safety initiatives and employee meetings.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills.
• Comfortable communicating across all levels in a large organization.
• Proven track record driving safety culture improvements.

Responsibilities

• Manages Environmental, Health and Safety across multiple facilities.
• Collaborates on Health and Safety projects across Operations sites.
• Reviews and audits the EHS management system for continuous improvement.
• Provides guidance on EHS matters to site employees.
• Reduces EHS risks by recommending adaptations and conducting risk assessments.
• Ensures robust site reporting for EHS statistics.
• Investigates accidents and maintains incident records for claims.
• Provides training for new hires and current employees.
• Maintains EHS and MHE training records and liaises with inspectors.
• Leads onsite EHS meetings and drives action plans to close issues.
• Communicates current EHS legislation and amendments to site management.
• Develops, implements and maintains an audit program for EHS.
