Job summary

Neon Aero seeks a Manager, Environmental Health & Safety to develop, implement, and improve programs protecting employees, contractors, visitors, the community, and the environment. You will lead site safety and compliance, support operational excellence, and partner with leaders to foster a proactive, risk-aware culture.

Role requires a Bachelor’s in safety/engineering and 5+ years of progressive EHS experience in regulated settings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, Engineering, or related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
• 5+ years progressive EHS experience in manufacturing, industrial, construction, or similarly regulated operations.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, hazardous waste, stormwater, air, wastewater, chemical management, lockout/tagout, machine guarding, confined space, and emergency response requirements.
• Experience conducting incident investigations, risk assessments, audits, training, and corrective action management.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and influence across functions and levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead EHS program development, policies, procedures, and training to keep sites safe.
• Own regulatory compliance across OSHA, EPA, DOT, and state requirements, including permits and reporting.
• Lead hazard assessments, investigations, and corrective action planning to prevent incidents.
• Build a proactive safety culture with cross-functional partnership and coaching.
• Translate regulatory requirements into practical operational procedures.
