Job summary

Neovia Logistics Services (NLS) seeks an Environmental, Health & Safety Specialist II to help ensure compliance with global EHS policies across the globe and mentor teams in applying these standards. This mid-level role emphasizes policy drafting, audits, and cross-functional collaboration.

The candidate will contribute to designing EHS systems, deliver training, and support legal compliance efforts at facilities worldwide.

Qualifications

Minimum of 4 years of verifiable EHS program experience.
Bachelor’s degree with major coursework in environmental planning, environmental studies, safety engineering, industrial engineering, industrial hygiene, or a closely related field from an accredited college or university.

Responsibilities

Drafting and maintaining the company’s global EHS policies, ensuring compliance for local standards across Environment, Health and Safety and Dangerous Goods.
Act as the first point of contact for local EHS leaders or Plant Managers with queries or issues on EHS matters.
Oversee and track the Facility Self-Assessment program and ensure all facilities submit the self-assessment.
Review facility self-assessments, perform gap analysis and help facilities create action plans.
Assist with Legal Compliance Audits.
Perform site visits to assess issues and create action plans with Plant Managers.
Input into the design and management of EHS systems (ERS and ESRS) and deliver training.
Schedule and perform Legal Compliance Audits.
Collaborate with Business Development on new opportunities ensuring EHS policy compliance.
