Job summary

SBM is seeking an EHS Regional Director to lead environmental, health and safety programs across all departments. You will ensure OSHA compliance, develop training, and drive continuous improvement while fostering a culture of safety throughout the organization.

5–8 years of experience in EHS leadership or related field.
Experience supervising teams and driving safety programs.

Responsibilities

Plan and implement safety policies and procedures in compliance with local, state, and federal OSHA rules and regulations.
Develop and standardize best practices for effective training and communication of EHS topics to employees and managers.
Ensure timely development and implementation of EHS policies, procedures, and programs including JHA and individual safety reviews.
Communicate health and safety issues to Director of EHS and VP of EHS and risk, and assess EHS performance and compliance across divisions.
Conduct compliance audits and inspections and develop audit findings with required follow-up.
Keep current on EHS regulations and participate in audits to ensure policy compliance.
