Job summary

Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service seeks an EHS Instructor I to lead environmental, health and safety training by delivering courses nationwide and online. The role requires coordinating activities with host agencies, travel planning, and applying adult learning principles to optimize learner outcomes.

The position emphasizes independent course coordination, teaching with aids, and strong safety-focused instruction, reporting to the EHS Training Manager, with a competitive benefits

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.
• Five years in environmental, health and safety.
• Two years in adult education and/or training.
• Must have a valid driver’s license within 30 days.
• Must have a valid passport or ability to obtain within 180 days.
• Equivalency: related experience with a degree may count.

Responsibilities

• Lead instructor for assigned courses across locations and online.
• Coordinate course activities with host agencies and travel logistics.
• Present course topics using demonstrations and teaching aids.
• Apply adult learning theories to maximize learner success.
