Job summary

SET Environmental Inc is seeking an experienced instructor to lead OSHA-focused safety training in our Texas programs. The role involves delivering lectures, creating syllabi, and designing practical scenarios to enhance student understanding while enforcing safety policies.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of teaching, OSHA 501 certification, NFPA knowledge, and a significant record of in-person lead training in emergency response.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of instructor experience preferred.
• Proficient understanding of OSHA and NFPA regulations.
• Knowledge of working in the emergency response industry.
• Significant hours of in-person training as a lead instructor; >500 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Establish key objectives for classes.
• Facilitate curriculum to accomplish objectives.
• Develop or follow a syllabus outlining topics and skills.
• Make lesson plans describing how information will be presented.
• Give lectures and organize activities to present material.
• Create and observe scenarios that test students' knowledge.
• Record students' attendance and involvement.
• Maintain safety policies and practices throughout delivery.
• Demonstrate all skills prior to allowing students to perform them.
• Additional duties as assigned
