Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking a Manager, Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) to lead safety programs across multiple manufacturing sites, ensuring environmental compliance and reporting. The role partners with Corporate Sustainability to meet air, water, and stormwater permit requirements.

The ideal candidate will develop and implement EHS programs, conduct audits, lead trainings, investigate incidents, and drive continuous improvement, with hands-on leadership and cross-location influence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related field.
• CSP or CIH certification is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of safety management experience in manufacturing.
• In-depth knowledge of OSHA and ANSI requirements.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lead, influence, and motivate teams to achieve safety objectives.
• Proficiency with safety management software and reporting tools.
• Experience in environmental programs is a plus, with a safety bias.

Responsibilities

• Travel to ThermoSafe US plant locations, up to 50–70% as needed.
• Assist in ensuring plant compliance with environmental reporting requirements.
• Develop and implement safety policies, programs, and initiatives.
• Conduct safety audits and inspections to identify hazards and implement mitigations.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, federal safety regulations and industry standards.
• Lead safety training programs for all organizational levels.
• Investigate workplace incidents to determine root causes and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with management on safety goals and improvement plans.
• Maintain records of incidents, inspections, and compliance activities.
• Stay current with industry safety trends and regulatory updates.
• Promote a safety-conscious culture through communication and leadership.
