Job summary

The Emily Program is seeking an EHR Analyst to support the Revenue Cycle Management team and internal stakeholders with real-time billing issues, system upgrades, and testing of enhancements. This full-time remote role requires solid experience with EHR platforms and a keen eye for accurate billing and documentation.

You will collaborate with the EHR team to implement fixes, maintain documentation, and communicate progress to management, ensuring high-quality delivery in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years’ experience with myAvatar, Sigmund, AURA, SmartCare, or with another EHR system strongly preferred.
• Willingness to learn and develop leadership skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to communicate effectively with billing staff and leadership.
• Ability to understand and interpret billing concepts/requirements.
• Knowledge of billing/CMS regulations/837i/837p loop and segments.
• Knowledge of claim remittance codes/posting codes/service codes.
• Self-reliant with strong multitasking skills.
• Attention to detail and quality.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Address billing discrepancies from claim remittances.
• Resolve billing production problems for all end users.
• Lead billing support and optimization of the EHR system.
• Serve as the point of contact for EHR billing corrections.
• Maintain high customer satisfaction with end users.
• Provide tracking for changes to the EHR system.
• Maintain records of all billing changes and inquiries.
• Assist in researching functionality for enhancements.
• Update support and maintenance documentation with Training.
• Develop and implement standardized, streamlined billing content.
• Participate in validation testing of new design/build and support implementation.
• Assist in design, build, test, and maintenance of systems supporting clinical/financial processes.
• Assist in EHR build requirements as needed.
• Contribute to tasks and projects to support test strategies and plans.
• Communicate task status to management and ensure timely delivery.
