ENT Specialty Partners is seeking a remote Medical Billing Specialist to handle patient billing inquiries for multiple offices. You will perform data entry, post charges and payments, and provide reimbursement assistance while maintaining HIPAA standards. The role requires 3+ years in medical billing and excellent customer service.

This position allows work from home for applicants in TX, PA, MD, or VA. Strong communication skills, familiarity with EMR/EHR systems, and experience with eClinical

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Understanding insurance remits and remark codes.
• Minimum 3 years in medical billing, claims processing and collections.
• Experience handling incoming patient calls for post-adjudicated claims for providers.
• Excellent customer service and timely information delivery.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred, but not required.
• Understanding of medical claims and terminology.
• Basic math skills and money transactions.
• Proficient with MS Office and data entry.
• Experience with EMR/EPM systems and eClinical Works Practice Management.
• Prior ENT specialty experience is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Accurate data entry of information into the computer system.
• Provide reimbursement assistance to patients and superior customer service.
• Follow HIPAA guidelines and provide medical records as requested.
• Timely filing and billing of patient transactions.
• Handle incoming calls and triage billing inquiries.
• Take payments over the phone.
• Make outbound calls to discuss outstanding balances and payment options.
• Review patient balances and document actions taken.
• Post charges, payments, and adjustments in the EHR.
• Work independently or in a team to meet goals.
• Maintain confidentiality at all times.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
