Job summary

IXL Learning is seeking an Educational Sales Consultant to join our field sales team. This full-time remote role supports the Solano County, CA area and involves substantial travel to promote IXL and Rosetta Stone to educators nationwide.

You will communicate product features, learn customer needs, and design effective sales strategies while achieving ongoing sales goals and delivering excellent service.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree required.
• 3+ years of educational sales experience.
• Classroom experience and/or related educational field preferred.
• Familiarity with web-based technologies.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Passion for bringing technology into the classroom.

Responsibilities

• Effectively communicate key product features and benefits to prospective customers virtually and in person.
• Develop understanding of customer needs and provide personalized assistance throughout the sales process.
• Meet sales goals on a consistent basis.
• Help design and implement new and creative sales strategies.
• Stay up-to-date with ever-changing market trends.
• Provide exceptional customer service to current and prospective customers.
• Gather customer feedback to help improve and enhance product offerings.
• Promote IXL and Rosetta Stone at educational technology conferences nationwide.
• Travel 75-80% with periodic overnights as required.
