Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience interpreting in educational environment.
• Minimum 1 year experience providing interpreting services virtually.
• National Interpreter Certification issued by the Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf and/or State licensure.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and transliterate content in live virtual settings per IEPs.
• Adapt language to meet the individual needs of students with hearing loss.
• Collaborate with teachers, caregivers, and service providers to ensure IEP compliance.
• Attend IEP meetings as an integral member of the team.
• Provide expressive and voice interpretation of classroom instruction.
