Job summary

University of Maryland Global Campus (UMGC) seeks a Financial Solutions Advisor to partner with learners and develop long-term funding plans for education. The role analyzes federal student aid, military benefits, employer benefits, and self-pay options to remove financial obstacles to success.

Based in a 100% remote environment (Stateside Remote), you will work with Admissions, Success Coaches, Financial Aid, and Student Accounts to guide learners from admission through graduation.

Qualifications

• An earned bachelor’s degree and 2-3 years of relevant work experience in an applicable role.
• Excellent customer service, time management, creative problem solving, interpersonal, oral and written communications skills.
• Experience with CRM or call center applications is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Actively partner with learners to develop long-term funding plans for education.
• Review funding options (federal aid, military benefits, employer benefits, self-pay).
• Communicate clearly across channels (email, SMS, live chat, calls) and document interactions.
