Job summary

IXL Learning is seeking an Implementation Specialist to support mid-size Texas districts and drive successful IXL implementations. The role emphasizes delivering high-quality professional development, data-driven coaching, and collaboration with district leaders and sales teams.

The ideal candidate will have a BA/BS and 5+ years in K-12 teaching with instructional coaching or edtech PD experience, plus willingness to travel up to 60% regionally during peak seasons.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of K-12 teaching experience
• Instructional coaching or school leadership experience preferred
• Edtech PD experience strongly preferred
• 2+ years of experience providing professional development
• Experience supporting district implementations strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Partner with district leaders to provide implementation support to mid-size districts
• Collaborate with school and district partners to create and implement a professional development plan that supports a successful IXL implementation
• Travel regionally to support assigned districts, including facilitating in-person professional development and conducting quarterly visits — up to 60% possible travel during back-to-school season and up to 40% the remainder of the year
• Deliver high-quality live and virtual professional development sessions to drive engagement and usage of IXL
• Analyze and use data to drive decision-making and strategize next steps
• Partner with the Sales team to effectively manage and grow customer relationships, including supporting districts piloting IXL and other pre-sales opportunities
