Job summary

IXL Learning is seeking a Curriculum Sales Consultant to join our sales team. This remote role serves the Hartford, CT metro area, helping educators adopt Takeoff by IXL and introduce the new math core curriculum to schools.

You will partner with field sales management, craft presentations for administrators and teachers, and travel up to 85% to districts and state departments. Requires 3+ years EdTech sales, a BA/BS, and a strong math background.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree required.
• 3+ years in EdTech sales.
• Experience selling K-12 core curriculum.
• 5+ years teaching or school administration.
• Strong math background preferred.
• Experience with core curriculum adoption.
• Excellent presentation and written/verbal communication.
• Tech-savvy and comfortable with educational tech.
• Ability to travel up to 85% and commute near a major airport.

Responsibilities

• Introduce the new math core curriculum to customers.
• Partner with field sales to strategize, present, and execute in your region.
• Understand customer needs and provide personalized sales assistance.
• Leverage market knowledge to increase sales.
• Deliver presentations to educators including admins and teachers.
• Demonstrate strong understanding of all IXL products.
• Stay current with changing market trends.
• Prospect districts and state departments with sales reps.
• Prepare for state and local adoptions.
