Job summary

IXL Learning is seeking a Curriculum Sales Consultant to drive growth for Takeoff by IXL. This remote role serves educators in the Pittsburgh, PA area and beyond, partnering with field sales to strategize, present, and close deals on the new math core curriculum.

The ideal candidate has a BA/BS, 3+ years of EdTech sales, 5+ years teaching or admin, and a math background, with strong communication and the ability to travel.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree required.
• 3+ years EdTech sales experience.
• Prior experience selling K-12 core curriculum.
• 5+ years teaching or school admin experience.
• Background in Math preferred.
• Exceptional presentation and written communication skills.
• Willing to travel up to 85% and live within 45 minutes of a major airport.

Responsibilities

• Introduce our new math core curriculum to new and existing customers.
• Partner with field sales management and reps to strategize, present, and execute the math program in your region.
• Develop an understanding of customer needs to provide personalized assistance through the sales process.
• Leverage market and product knowledge to increase sales.
• Deliver highly effective presentations to educators and administrators.
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of all IXL products.
• Stay up-to-date with changing market trends.
• Collaborate with sales reps to prospect districts and state departments.
• Prepare work for state and local adoptions.
