Job summary

Unknown is seeking an experienced EDI Specialist - 834 to own healthcare eligibility integrations from requirements and trading partner setup through testing, production migration, and post-implementation support. This remote, long-term contract role requires hands-on X12 834 expertise, strong SQL skills, and ability to coordinate with external partners.

You will build and support 834 import/transformation processes, monitor transactions, and drive full-cycle EDI testing while ensuring data

Qualifications

Hands-on experience with X12 834 in a healthcare environment.
Led or owned full-cycle EDI implementations including requirements, testing, go-live, and production support.
Experience with EDI translation software and healthcare data import/transformation processes.
Strong SQL skills for enrollment data analysis and reconciliation.
Experience collaborating with external trading partners and internal teams.

Responsibilities

Own and support 834 eligibility feeds from requirements to production support.
Build, modify, and support 834 import and transformation processes.
Monitor 834 transactions, troubleshoot mapping, quality, and integration issues.
Analyze enrollment data with SQL, reconcile transactions, identify discrepancies.
Coordinate end-to-end EDI testing (QA, regression, integration, UAT).
Document EDI data flows, processing procedures, and requirements.
