Job summary

AMN Healthcare is seeking a skilled Remote ED, SDS, OBS Coder to assign ICD-10 diagnoses, CPT/HCPCS codes, and modifiers for Outpatient ED and SDS/OBS records. The role requires at least 2 years of acute care outpatient coding experience and proficiency with 3M encoder and Meditech.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years recent Acute Care Outpatient coding experience.
• Experience with ED, SDS, and OBS coding and related CPT/HCPCS coding.
• Strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM diagnosis coding.

Responsibilities

• Assign ICD-10 diagnoses and ED procedures with appropriate modifiers.
• Code Outpatient ED, SDS, OBS accounts with accuracy (target 95%+).
• Utilize 3M encoder and Meditech for coding tasks.
• Collaborate with Workforce Manager and support labs accounts as needed.
