RTX is seeking a PCB ECAD Designer to perform layout tasks with low to medium complexity under guidance. You will apply ECAD standards, support schematic-to-layout integration, and prepare fabrication outputs while maintaining accuracy and design intent.

Qualifications

• Requires HS Diploma or AA/AS degree with 2+ years of PCB ECAD experience.
• Experience with PCB layout using ECAD tools including Siemens Xpedition.
• Capable of PCB placement, routing and basic constraint management in ECAD tools.
• Experience with multilayer PCB designs of low to medium complexity.
• Familiar with fabrication outputs (Gerbers/ODB++).
• Understanding of DFM/DFA principles and basic manufacturability considerations.

Responsibilities

• Perform PCB layout tasks of low to medium complexity under supervision.
• Apply ECAD design standards and workflows while completing work packages.
• Support schematic-to-layout implementation including component placement and routing.
• Maintain accuracy by minimizing repeat errors and incorporating feedback.
• Prepare and update ECAD documentation such as fabrication outputs and drawings.
• Communicate progress clearly and ensure alignment with design intent.
• Contribute to continuous improvement by applying ECAD best practices.
