Job summary

Collins Aerospace is seeking an ECAD Library Leader to oversee development, management, and optimization of ECAD libraries across design teams. You will ensure accuracy, timeliness, and accessibility of symbols, footprints, and 3D models, driving standardization and collaboration.

You will work with Engineering, Procurement, Digital Technology, and Manufacturing to align libraries with product development, implement automation, and maintain documentation for traceability and compliance.

Qualifications

• Requires STEM degree or advanced degree with years experience.
• Minimum 8 years in ECAD library management or related fields.
• Proficiency in ECAD tools (Mentor Xpedition, Cadence, Altium).
• Strong understanding of PCB design principles and industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage centralized ECAD libraries and ensure symbols, footprints, and 3D models are accurate and released.
• Drive standardization of library components and processes across units.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Procurement, Digital Technology, and Manufacturing to align libraries with product development.
