Job summary

Apptronik is seeking an ECAD Librarian to own and grow the Altium component library, ensuring symbols, footprints, and 3D models meet IPC and DFM standards before release. You will collaborate with electrical, mechanical, and manufacturing engineers to maintain data integrity and governance across the design organization.

Responsibilities include defining naming conventions, templates, and part-request workflows, while ensuring integration with PLM systems and automation where possible to reduce

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in ECAD library management or PCB design.
• 2–5+ years of experience in ECAD library management, component engineering, or PCB design.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain schematic symbols, PCB footprints, pad stacks, and 3D models in Altium.
• Apply IPC-7351 and JEDEC standards to new and revised components for DFM/DFA.
