Job summary

RTX Collins Aerospace seeks a Senior Manager, ECAD Library Leader (Remote) to oversee centralized ECAD libraries and drive standardization across business units. You will lead a team of librarians, collaborate with Engineering, Procurement, and Manufacturing, and push automation to improve library processes and compliance with aerospace standards.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a STEM degree and 10+ years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with 7+ years.
• Minimum 8 years of ECAD library management experience in aerospace/defense or similar industries.
• Proficiency in ECAD tools such as Mentor Graphics (Xpedition), Cadence, Altium, or similar.

Responsibilities

• ECAD library management: develop, maintain, and manage centralized ECAD libraries; ensure compliance with standards.
• Standardization and best practices: drive standardization and enforce best practices across units.
• Collaboration and coordination: work with Engineering, Procurement, Digital Technology, and Manufacturing.
• Process improvement: implement automation and advanced tools to improve library creation, validation, and maintenance.
• Compliance and documentation: ensure components meet regulatory and RTX design standards; maintain traceability docs.
• Training and support: develop training materials; provide on-demand ECAD library support.
• Performance monitoring and reporting: track usage, accuracy, and process improvements; report findings.
• Lead, develop, and grow talent: mentor librarians and foster cross-functional teamwork.
