Job summary

Amazon Lab126 in Sunnyvale is seeking an MCAD/ECAD Librarian to help define and create component electrical symbols, PCB footprints, and 3D mechanical models, supporting all phases of product development. You will manage parametric data in CIS/CIP databases, update library symbols with Cadence tools, and build 3D models with Creo, while coordinating with PLM to track approvals and obsolescence.

Preferred candidates have 5+ years of hardware development experience and familiarity with ROHS/WEEE

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hardware development, test lab, space/aerospace maintenance or hands-on engineering environment experience.
• Experience with Cadence Design Tools and PTC Creo is a plus.
• Familiarity with PLM for component approval and EOL/Obsolete status.

Responsibilities

• Manage the necessary part parametric data in CIS/CIP databases.
• Create or update schematic and PCB library symbols using Cadence Design Tools.
• Create or update component 3D mechanical models using PTC Creo.
• Modify component symbols via engineering requests or ECO changes.
• Assist engineering in process flow development or improvements.
