Job summary

The American Heart Association is seeking a National Corporate Relations Director to cover the Eastern States Region from a home-based location. Travel is required to engage with national and regional partners and drive corporate giving aligned with the mission.

You will build and manage a portfolio of accounts, lead strategic planning with senior leadership, and collaborate across departments to secure $1M+ yearly funding and $5–$10M annual revenue targets.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of successful sales experience selling intangible programs and services.
• Experience in negotiation and solution-oriented problem solving.
• Ability to develop and deliver presentations to diverse groups.
• Strong written and oral communications in English.
• Ability to interact with high-level executives.
• Willingness to travel at least 50% of the time, including overnight stays.

Responsibilities

• Represent the Association with global and national companies to identify and present corporate giving aligned with mission goals.
• Develop, plan, and collaborate with senior management to prospect for new business and meet organizational goals.
• Lead solution development addressing corporate account needs while advancing priorities.
• Lead multi-year strategic account planning with mutual goals, revenue targets, and milestones.
• Coordinate with departments to provide support, resources, and services.
• Build a portfolio of national accounts for programs, ventures, and sponsorships.
• Provide direction to volunteers while leveraging their networks to achieve goals.
• Perform other duties as required.
