Job summary

The American Heart Association has an excellent opportunity for a National Corporate Relations Director in our National Center. This home-based role covers the Eastern States Region and requires 50% travel, including overnight stays.

You will develop top-tier national corporate relationships to secure funding at the $1 million+ level and aim for $5–$10 million in annual revenue, supporting mission priorities.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent required.
• 3+ years of sales experience, including intangible programs/services.
• 3+ years of negotiation and problem-solving experience.
• 3+ years delivering presentations to groups of various sizes.
• Strong written and verbal business English.
• Ability to interact with high-level executives.
• Willingness to travel at least 50% with overnight stays.

Responsibilities

• Represent the Association with global and national companies to identify and present corporate giving aligned with mission goals.
• Plan, develop, and collaborate with senior management to prospect for new business and meet revenue targets.
• Lead solution development to address account needs and advance priority initiatives.
• Coordinate with departments to provide support and resources to national accounts.
• Build a portfolio of national accounts for programs, ventures, and sponsorships.
• Provide direction to volunteers while leveraging their networks to achieve goals.
