Job summary

The American Heart Association is seeking a National Corporate Relations Director to lead major national sponsorships and corporate partnerships across the Eastern States Region. This home-based role requires up to 50% travel to build a robust portfolio and meet revenue targets.

You will develop top-tier corporate relationships, secure funding at the $1M+ level, and drive $5–$10M annual revenue through strategic accounts and cross-functional collaboration with volunteers and management.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a degree or equivalent.
• Three or more years of successful sales experience, especially selling intangible programs and services.
• Three or more years negotiating and solving problems.
• Three or more years delivering presentations to large and small groups.
• Strong written and oral communication in business English.
• Ability to engage with high-level executives and travel at least 50% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Represent the Association with global and national companies to identify and present corporate giving aligned with mission goals.
• Prospect for new business with senior management and volunteers to meet or exceed goals.
• Lead solution development addressing corporate account needs while advancing priorities.
• Coordinate multi-year strategic account planning with mutual goals and milestones.
• Support and resource volunteers and internal teams to drive organization goals.
• Build a portfolio of national accounts for mission-aligned programs, ventures, and sponsorships.
