CVS Health Corporation's Aetna Mental Well-being team is reimagining access to mental health care through a 24/7, fully remote role for an EAP Counselor. You will provide telephone-based assessments, crisis intervention, and brief counseling to members nationwide, using standardized clinical assessments and motivational interviewing.

Requirements include a Master’s degree in behavioral health counseling and an independent clinical license; 1+ years of crisis intervention experience; willingness

Qualifications

• 1+ years of crisis intervention experience.
• Valid unrestricted independent behavioral health clinical license to practice per state regulations.
• 24x7x365 call center coverage.
• Experience in facilitating patient/client positive behavior change.

Responsibilities

• Provide telephone-based assessment, triage, consultation, counseling and information services in a call center.
• Provide risk, substance use and mental health assessments to develop immediate action plans.
• Understand levels of care to aid in appropriate referral decisions.
• Maintain confidentiality and complete documentation meeting risk management standards.
• Collaborate with a team to support continuity of care.
