Job summary

CVS Health Corporation, through Aetna Mental Wellbeing, seeks an EAP Clinical Counselor to provide 24/7 remote mental health support across the USA. You will conduct assessments, triage, and short-term counseling in a high-volume call center, ensuring timely, high-quality care.

Must hold an active independent behavioral health license and have strong skills in crisis intervention, rapport building, and communication. Remote work with a comprehensive benefits package is offered.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of crisis intervention experience.
• Valid unrestricted independent behavioral health clinical license to practice per state regulations in the state they reside in.
• 24x7x365 call center coverage needed, holiday coverage is expected.
• Experience in facilitating patient/client positive behavior change.
• Experience in handling mental health, psychiatric care, family situations and relationship concerns preferred.

Responsibilities

• Telephone-based assessment, triage, counseling in a call center environment.
• Provides risk, substance use and mental health assessments to develop safety plans.
• Assesses levels of care to aid in appropriate recommendations.
• Communicates with members about mental health resources and treatment options.
• Collaborates with a team to support positive clinical outcomes and continuity of care.
