EBSCO Information Services (EBSCO) is offering a remote, US-based E-Content Specialist role focused on building and maintaining a comprehensive Global Knowledge Base (GKB) by handling metadata, data feeds, and collections. You will work with external data partners to ensure high-quality metadata and robust indexing for discovery.

The role requires 2+ years experience with metadata, strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, pivot tables), and the ability to manage large datasets.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience working with large datasets, metadata, or electronic resources.
• 2+ years of experience coordinating with third‑party vendors and managing high‑volume written and verbal communications.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, pivot tables, and advanced functions; experience with datasets over 50,000 rows.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with global providers to resolve data issues and obtain metadata for GKB.
• Analyze publisher-supplied metadata to ensure completeness and accuracy; remediate gaps as needed.
• Create, load, and maintain collections in the GKB with descriptions, classifications, and related attributes.
