Osteoporosis Canada seeks a Manager, Direct Response and Individual Giving to lead direct mail and acquisition programs, manage one direct report, and grow the donor base. The role reports to the Director of Fund Development and MARCOM and requires delivering impactful fundraising initiatives within a dynamic team.

The position emphasizes data-driven decision making, campaign analysis, and collaboration with internal and external partners to optimize revenue and donor engagement.

Formación

• University degree or appropriate post-secondary education with work experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of working with CRM, specifically Raiser’s Edge.
• 5-7 or more years of successful fundraising experience including the management of an email program, digital advertising program, and lead acquisition and conversion campaigns with a proven track record of developing and executing revenue generating campaigns.
• 2-3 years of management experience (one direct report).
• A keen interest in keeping on top of trends, innovation, optimization, testing, and analysis.
• Expert knowledge of direct marketing principles and best practices.
• Strong writing, editing, and content development skills with the ability to craft stories that inspire donors and supporters.
• Data-minded and data driven with expert analytics, analysis, and reporting experience.
• Knowledge and best practices for tax receipting
• Knowledge of ethical fundraising guidelines and best practices.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and project management skills.
• Knowledge of receipting rules and guidelines for digital and offline donations per CRA.

• Proven ability to build relationships and generate new revenue streams
• Proven ability to engage with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders

Responsabilidades

• Build and manage donor relationships and prospects, and develop fundraising strategies.
• Oversee direct response, email programs, and donor acquisition efforts.
• Collaborate with Director, Fund Development and MARCOM on budgets and vendor management.
• Coordinate with finance on invoices and expenses.
• Lead external consultants and manage timelines and budgets.
• Work with Direct Response vendor on data segmentation and deployment.
• Support data requests, content reviews, and updates.
• Develop e-solicitation strategies and audience lists.
• Research fundraising opportunities and expand programs with guidance from leadership.
• Analyze and report fundraising campaign results.
• Recognize and steward donors.
• Communicate donor services and giving opportunities to supporters.
• Maintain donor databases and information files for relationship management.
• Respond to donor inquiries and preferences.
• Assist in recruiting, training, and supporting volunteers.
• Collaborate with National Office staff on communication activities.
• Perform additional duties as required.
